About the Guest:
After a lifetime of strange medical conditions, Brad was diagnosed with autoimmune arthritis in 2010. Brad began traditional treatments until he was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 2014. Realizing that the treatments had a higher risk of cancer, Brad was determined to find a better way. On his healing journey, he discovered he had Lyme disease and a coinfection called Bartonella. Brad’s health continued to decline to the point where he could barely walk, he had severe brain fog and chronic fatigue issues. In 2016, his doctor recommended he either try hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) or exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT).
After researching, Brad decided to try EWOT, but because he did not have confidence in what was being sold on the marketplace at the time, he decided to build his own. A year later, showing great improvements in health, his doctor asked him if he would start making EWOT systems for his patients, and One Thousand Roads was born with the mission of bringing down the price of EWOT so that more people could benefit from it.
We seek to provide affordable, high-quality EWOT systems to people with chronic health challenges. Our goal is to spread both awareness and availability of EWOT systems so that many more people can experience the powerful healing of EWOT.

Melissa’s passion project is her non-profit, Girls Matter (www.girlsmatter.ca), breaking the poverty cycle 1 girl, 1 family, 1 village at a time. The mission is to keep girls in school and stop teenage marriages, because school isn’t free in over 50 countries around the world and when parents have to make the difficult choices of feeding their kids or paying for school, food wins. And when the girls hit their teen years, they will often be married off so that someone else becomes responsible to feed them. Keeping girls in school instead creates a generational ripple effect, because an educated girl is more than twice as likely to ensure her own children are educated. Educating girls also grows the GDP of countries, when they get into the workforce. This is how together, we can change the world. Guests on this podcast are invited to donate to this important cause.
