Welcome back to another episode of health hack as I continue talking about lessons learned or relearned in 2024 this one was a new one, a new perspective for me, and it's in regards to gratitude. And you've heard me talk about gratitude here often. However, the new twist to it is that gratitude is the highest form of receiving, and I'd never really thought about it that way before. However, when I read that and stopped to think about it, I realized it really is true, because we get what we focus on, and so when we focus on our gratitude, we are being grateful for whatever's happened in our day, whatever we may have received, etc, and when we focus on that, we get more of it. We're signaling to the universe that we like that and we want more. And so this starts to open up our channel to being able to receive more. And the other piece of this, that was an aha for me, not in 2024 but not too many years ago, is that giving and receiving are the flip side of the same coin. They're a circle. You cannot give unless someone else is willing to receive, and likewise, somebody else can't give to you unless you are willing to receive. And if you're like me, you were raised and told, you know, giving is much better than receiving, and there is no much better about it, is what I've come to learn, and that you need both you can't give without someone who's willing to receive, and you can't receive unless someone is willing to give. So they go hand in hand. They're a circle, and it's not that one is better than the other. They're both important, and you may need practice in receiving if you have been raised with the idea that giving is better, and you give, give, give, give, give, and you never stop to receive. And so that is my question for you, are you somebody who gives, gives, gives, gives, and you are perhaps not practiced at receiving? And if that's the case, you want to start opening yourself up to receiving, because it does complete the circle. It allows somebody else to be able to give to you, and it allows abundance to flow freely in both directions, and one way that you can do that is with gratitude and being grateful for what you already have, what's coming into your life, and just acknowledging what's coming into your life because it's coming into your life, and perhaps you're not even considering that you are receiving that, acknowledging that, focusing on that, so that you can then open yourself up to more receiving. And with that, I thank you for tuning into my health hacks and watching them as I show gratitude to you for being open to learning, being interested in your health, your physical health, your mental, emotional and spiritual health, and for being here and listening to what I am sharing as I learn, and want to share that with you. So thank you.
