Welcome back to another edition of health hack as I continue talking about mercury levels and the toxicity to our human body. Last time I mentioned that it was a neurotoxin, I also want to mention that it can disrupt our production of energy. And so we feel like we have less energy when we have mercury in our body, which we shouldn't have any mercury in our body at all. And unfortunately, in today's world, many of us do. And so we can test for that by doing a hair tissue mineral analysis test, which is simply a clipping of hair from the nape of your neck and we can send that in and get your results back to see where your levels are at. And I'm seeing many results with people with higher levels of mercury that we don't want and then once we know that, we get to do something about it before it causes our health to go sideways. So the other thing I want to talk about today is the fact that mercury levels in fish are a problem and in the last episode, I talked about a list of fish that have high mercury levels and today I want to share with you fish that are in the medium category of mercury levels and in the next episode I will share with you fish that are in the low category. So in the medium category we have bass striped and black as well as carp as well as Alaskan cod, white Pacific croaker Pacific and Atlantic halibut, lobster, Mahi Mahi, monkfish, freshwater perch, sablefish, skate snapper, as well as canned chunk, light and skipjack tuna and sea trout. So again, those are fish that you might want to start choosing to eat less of, and come back to my next episode to find the fish that are low in mercury. And those are the fish that you want to start looking for in your grocery shopping. I hope this is helpful information. Nobody wants mercury toxicity in their body
