Welcome back to another episode of health hack as I continue talking about the tools of our unconscious mind, and today, I want to talk to you about what is personal power? And do you have it? Well, personal power is when you were at the cause side of an equation versus at the effect side of an equation. Now, let me explain that, when you were at the cause side of the equation, you are literally the creator of your results, you are taking responsibility, you are at peace, you are in creation of your life and the outcomes that you want. It is the aha moment. It is the mindset of, I'm doing my best. And I'm getting it done. Versus when you are at effect, that is when you are making excuses. You have no time, you have no money, you have no energy, you are blaming others rather than taking responsibility for your part in whatever happened. There is drama, there is repetition of the victim story. The mindset and the words being spoken are along the lines of I'm trying to do this versus I'm doing it because remember, there's no such word as try, if you try to pick up a pen, go ahead right now, try to pick up a pen, what happens,you either picked it up, or you didn't, there is no try.
Melissa Deally:And yet, when we are at effect of what's going on in our life, we are trying and we are procrastinating. And so in order for you to be able to achieve personal power, you simply have to shift over to the at cause side of the equation. And that is the side of the equation where you get results. Whereas the effects side of the equation is where you simply have excuses as to why you're not getting the results that you want. You can be in different places in different aspects of your life. So you might have personal power at home, and not in your work relationship with your boss, for instance. However, this is something that you can think about. Because now that you understand this, you can start to shift into being in personal power in all aspects of your life. It's not about having power over someone else. It is simply being able to stand in your own power and achieve the results you want. Take responsibility for whatever is happening in your life. Because whatever's happening in your life you are a part of and therefore if things aren't going the way that you want them to be going, What responsibility do you have in the fact they're not going the way you want them to be going? Again, you're not blaming someone else, you're taking responsibility, you're looking at that figuring it out and moving forward. So I would love to invite you to look at all aspects of your life. Are you in your personal power? Are you at cause Are you taking responsibility? Are you getting the results that you want? And if not, that's okay. It's now in your awareness that you're not how can you move over into being at the result side of the equation and step both feet into being in your personal power? Each and every single one of us can absolutely do this. So I invite you to step into your personal power
